Boston-based charter and tour bus company, Eastern Coach announced the company has joined the Trailways family of companies.
Eastern offers service to New York City, Washington DC, Virginia, and Canada and is the largest operator for Flixbus on the East Coast, according to David Wang, president and CEO of Eastern.
“The Trailways brand is synonymous with safe, reliable, affordable transportation and is consistent with the Eastern Coach mission,” said Wang in a statement. “We are excited to be flying the Trailways flag.”
Eastern Coach Trailways is registered with the United States Department of Transportation, certified by the U.S. Department of Defense and is a member of the United Motorcoach Association and New England Bus Association.
The Trailways Transportation System is a US-based network of about 70 independent motorcoach operators.
