Daimler Coaches North America names new VP of sales as industry veteran retires

Daimler Coaches North America (DCNA) is marking a significant leadership transition as Robert “Bob” J. Miller retires at the end of this year after a 25-year career in the transportation industry. 

Miller played a pivotal role in establishing DCNA and spearheading the introduction of the Mercedes-Benz Tourrider to the North American market.

During the transition, Miller will work closely with Jason Brunninger, who will assume the role of Vice President of Sales. Brunninger is a motorcoach industry veteran with over two decades of experience.

At the same time, we are excited to welcome Jason as our new Vice President of Sales. His extensive motorcoach experience and strong customer focus will help further expand our market presence and meet our ambitious growth targets.”

Brunninger most recently served as General Manager for Mercedes-Benz Buses Southern Africa. In this role, he led the launch of a new motorcoach platform. 

His leadership experience includes positions as Head of Sales for Mercedes-Benz Trucks and Freightliner Trucks Southern Africa.

“I am thrilled to join the DCNA team and grow the Mercedes-Benz Tourrider brand in North America,” said Brunninger. “We have an excellent product, great service network, and most importantly, people our customers can rely on.”

Brunninger holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Business Management from the University of South Africa. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoys spending his free time with family, camping, biking, and hiking.
