MCI customers win big at industry awards events

Motor Coach Industries (MCI), a subsidiary of NFI Group Inc. and a leader in the North American motorcoach industry, is celebrating nine of its customers for earning top honors at recent national industry events.

The awards, presented by organizations including the American Bus Association (ABA), International Motorcoach Group (IMG), Trailways Transportation System Inc., and United Motorcoach Association (UMA), recognized companies for achievements in safety, sustainability, performance, and leadership.

These MCI customers were recognized:

  • Arrow Stage Lines received the IMG Safety Award for its dedication to safety.
  • Martz Trailways was presented with a Trailways Safety Award as the most improved fleet service in the charter and tour division.
  • Mosaic Global Transportation earned the UMA Environmental Leadership Award for its positive environmental impact.
  • UMA Director Scott Riccio, owner of Northeast Charter and Tour Company, received the BUSride Good Stewardship Award in recognition of decades of leadership and commitment to the motorcoach industry.
  • OK Tours Charter Bus Service & Tours won the METRO Magazine Innovative Operator Award for its creative evolution and superior performance.
  • Peter Pan Bus Lines was named METRO’s Motorcoach Operator of the Year for a legacy of operational excellence. Company driver Tony Wilson was also recognized as the ABA Motorcoach Driver of the Year for his exceptional safety and performance record over many decades.
  • Transportation Charter Services earned the ABA Leadership & Environmental Sustainability Award for its strategic vision and sustainability practices.
  • Teton Stage Lines took home the UMA Vision Award for innovative practices and growth as a small fleet operator.
  • VIA Trailways was honored with a Trailways Safety Award after traveling over a million miles without a safety incident.
