Maryland Motorcoach Association (MMA) announces the return of its in-person meetings and events in 2021.
The decision to add more in-person events follows the MMA’s successful collaboration with the Virginia Motorcoach Association (VMA) to host its first-ever joint event, the Spring Operators Meeting on May 11-12.
MMA is moving forward and leaving 2020 in the “rearview mirror” as the organization plans events to bring members together, says Mary Presley, Executive Administrator of MMA.
In-person events
There are three events on deck. Here are the dates and details of upcoming events.
On Sept. 8, MMA Members will be “Cracking Crabs” at The Wellwood Yacht Club in Charlestown, Maryland, where they will come together for their ever-popular Annual Crab Feast.
Soon after, on Sept. 27, Members will gather at the Wyndham York for their annual Group Leader Travel Showcase in York, Pennsylvania. The event allows tour and travel partners the opportunity to introduce their destinations to group leaders with the hopes that they are ready to “Get on the Bus” and start traveling again to their attractions and restaurants.
Finally, on Dec. 9, MMA Members will be setting sail on the waterfront in Baltimore, where they anticipate boarding the Inner Harbor Spirit by Hornblower Cruises for “Dining and Dancing Under the Stars” at the annual Holiday Celebration.
Members and Non-Members, many of whom are UMA members, are encouraged to participate in any or all of these events.
