Motor Coach Industries (MCI) has appointed Phil Wellington as Regional Account Manager–Financial Services, succeeding recently retired David Johnson.
Wellington brings more than 15 years of financing experience to the role, primarily in heavy equipment lending. He first became familiar with the motorcoach industry in 2016 while working with MCI on financing contracts through Edson Financial.
“MCI is thrilled to bring Phil onto Team MCI. His prior industry experience and wealth of knowledge are already making this a seamless transition for our customers,” said Michael Denny, vice president of sales operations and financial services at MCI.
In his new position, Wellington will support private market customers with their financing needs across the U.S. West Coast, Mountain West, and Northeast regions. He is based in the Los Angeles area and reports to Financial Services Manager Tony Pederson.
